Clay Therapy Pottery Workshops in Delhi
Pottery is often called cheaper than therapy, and at my Pitampura studio, that is exactly what we aim for. Get your hands messy, disconnect from the screen, and create something real.
The message here is simple: pottery is a form of therapy. This video shows participants finding their calm while sculpting, proving that molding clay can help you mold your stress away.
Feeling stressed? Mold it out. This session shows people of all ages, from a young child to a group of friends, finding their release and happiness through the creative process.
If you're looking for a therapeutic escape from your computer screen, a pottery class is the perfect solution. This video shows participants fully engaged in painting and shaping clay, a perfect weekend activity.
Don't search for happiness, create it. This is the philosophy behind my workshops. Here you can see participants finding joy and satisfaction in making their own planters and other items.

About Clay as Therapy: Unwind & Create
When you step into my studio, we do not just teach technique; we guide you through the process of centering (both the clay on the wheel and yourself). Whether you are here to learn wheel throwing or want to try hand building, the goal is to leave the noise of the city behind for a few hours of focused, tactile creation.
Life in Delhi moves fast, but the potter’s wheel requires you to slow down. My rooftop studio in Pitampura is designed specifically for this transition. We offer more than just a class; we offer a space to reset.
In our sessions, you are not just watching a demo; you are getting your hands fully involved. We cover the basics of stoneware clay, showing you how to center the clay, pull up walls, and manipulate the form. If the wheel feels intimidating, hand building offers a different kind of freedom, allowing you to sculpt plates, planters, or mugs at your own pace.
Why Pottery Works
Engaging in meditative art like pottery helps break the cycle of digital fatigue. It is a sensory experience that grounds you in the present moment. Many participants find that the simple act of preparing and molding clay acts as a natural stress reliever, regardless of whether you have an artistic background.
Firing and Keepsakes
For those interested in taking their work home, we offer post-processing, including bisque and glaze firing. This service turns your raw creation into food-safe, permanent ceramic ware. While the process takes 5-6 weeks to complete, the result is a piece of pottery you crafted entirely on your own, ready to use in your home.
