Skip the usual party venues. Whether it is a milestone birthday or a quiet anniversary, my rooftop studio in Pitampura is ready for your celebration. Get messy, learn the wheel, and leave with handmade memories.

A birthday celebration in full swing. This group of friends chose a pottery workshop to mark the occasion, and they left with not just their handmade pottery but also a fun, shared experience.

A husband and wife celebrating a birthday by trying the potter's wheel and painting their own mugs. It's a wonderful way to spend quality time together and create a personal gift.

This participant chose to celebrate her 35th birthday by gifting herself a pottery class. It's a beautiful way to mark a milestone, embracing a new skill and taking time for self care and creativity.

For Mother's Day, I offer special sessions for families to create together. It's a heartfelt way to spend time with your mom, making everything from vases to wind chimes as a tribute to her.

Getting into the festive spirit by making handmade Christmas ornaments. These seasonal workshops are a hit with kids and adults alike, offering a chance to create personalized decorations for the holidays.

About Celebrate with Clay

For celebrations, the main question I get is: 'Do I get to take it home?' Depending on your choice, we can keep it as a 'wet clay' experience where you enjoy the process and play without the commitment of firing. Or, if you want your creations to last, we can bisque and glaze your favorite pieces so they become food-safe, permanent ceramics to keep as a memento of your special day.

Celebrations are better when you are making something real. At my Pitampura studio, I host groups ranging from intimate couples to small parties of 15, focusing on a relaxed atmosphere where the goal is connection, not perfection.

Why a Pottery Party?

Pottery is tactile and grounding. It forces you to put the phone down, get your hands in the mud, and actually talk to the people you are with. Unlike a standard event, you walk away with a shared memory and, depending on the package you choose, a physical object you created together.

What to Expect

Whether you are booking for a birthday, anniversary, or a family get-together, the session is split between guided hand-building and wheel-throwing trials.

  • Hand-building: This is where the group sits together. It is collaborative and allows for plenty of conversation. You can make bowls, platters, or personalized keepsakes.
  • Wheel-throwing: This is the highlight for most. I set up the wheels, and everyone gets a turn to center and pull their own clay. It is messy, challenging, and usually involves a lot of laughter.

Bringing the Studio to You

If you prefer to host your event at a different venue—your office, a banquet hall, or a school—I bring the entire setup to you. I manage all the logistics, from hauling the clay and equipment to the post-event cleanup, so you can focus on the guests. We use non-toxic, stoneware clay and provide aprons for everyone.

If you are planning something specific, like a themed birthday or a corporate team-building event, let me know the headcount and the vibe you are going for, and I will tailor the session to match.

I'm Dipti, and I've spent over two decades with my hands in clay. I believe pottery is a form of therapy that's best shared with others. My studio is a space to pause, breathe, and create, whether you're celebrating a big day or just looking for a new kind of fun.
