About Rhythm for Dance
When you perform, the rhythm is not just a backdrop, it is a conversation. Whether I am on the tabla or the pakhavaj, I focus on anticipating your footwork and 'bols' in real-time, ensuring the music breathes with every step you take on stage.
For a dancer, having a musician who truly listens is everything. In my years of performing, I have learnt that the best accompaniment happens when the rhythm and the movement become one. I do not just keep time. I watch for your micro-movements, the intensity of your chakkars, and the subtle shifts in your expression to make sure the percussion hits exactly when you do.
Whether you are presenting a traditional Kathak piece that requires the deep, earthy resonance of the pakhavaj, or a contemporary production that calls for the versatility of the tabla, I ensure the setup matches your artistic vision. I am always happy to coordinate with your dance gurus or choreographers during rehearsals to align on tempo and specific rhythmic patterns.
Based in Delhi, I bring my own gear, including concert-grade instruments and the necessary mic-friendly cushions, so you can focus entirely on your performance. If you have a specific repertoire in mind or are planning a performance at a venue across Delhi NCR, let's connect and discuss how we can bring that rhythm to life.

Music is my prayer, and my instruments are the medium. I find my flow in accompanying dancers, learning from every 'taal' and every gesture they share on stage.
