Music is my prayer, and these moments are my way of sharing that joy. Here is a selection of my solo recitals, collaborative jugalbandis, and soulful accompaniment work.

The Pakhavaj has an ancient, deep sound that feels like a prayer. Here is a short solo performance where I let the instrument speak, showcasing its powerful and resonant voice in a Chautaal composition.

A glimpse into a Tabla solo recital at Triveni Kala Sangam. This piece, set in Teentaal, shows the conversational and dynamic nature of a tabla and harmonium jugalbandi, a dialogue between melody and rhythm.

Music is a shared experience. Here I am accompanying the wonderful Akanksha Grover for a soulful Ghazal mehfil, where the tabla provides the delicate rhythmic foundation for the poetry and melody.

Accompanying Kathak is one of my great joys. This clip shows the synergy between the dancer's footwork and the tabla's bols, creating a visual and auditory spectacle during a performance celebrating the Aarhayam Dance Foundation.

Music can happen anywhere, and with Mahadev's grace, I had this surreal experience of playing a Delhi Kaida on the holy Ganga in Varanasi. The rhythm of the tabla meeting the flow of the river was a moment of pure bliss.

A moment from a 'Jugalbandi' at the Mehfil E Sama, where my Pakhavaj engaged in a musical conversation with a talented violinist. These collaborations are where different musical worlds meet and create something new.

A truly blessed moment for me, recreating a photograph with the god of music, Ustad Zakir Hussain ji, after 19 years. His blessings and guidance are a source of immense inspiration on my musical journey.

From classical stages to contemporary fusion ensembles, the tabla finds its place everywhere. This was a high-energy private gig with a full band, including sitar, flute, keyboard, and drums, showing the versatility of Indian percussion.

A still moment captured during a Pakhavaj performance at Mehfil E Sama. The focus and connection an artist feels with the instrument and the audience is a feeling I cherish in every concert.

Lost in the rhythm of the tabla during an evening concert. Each performance is a new story, and I am grateful for every opportunity to share it.

About Featured

Before every performance, I spend 45 to 60 minutes tuning my instruments to the specific acoustics of your venue. Whether it is a small house baithak or a large auditorium, this climate acclimation ensures the tabla and pakhavaj sound crisp and resonant. If you are planning an event, this setup time is standard to ensure we start right on time.
