Hand-Dyed & Brush Painted Mysore Silk
Base Fabric Specifications
- Material: 100% Pure Mysore Crepe Silk.
- Thickness: Choice of 80 GSM (light flow) or 100 GSM (thicker drape).
- Certification: Silk Mark assurance.
- Blouse Piece: Included (Running fabric or Contrast, approx 80cm to 1 meter).
Customization Artwork
- Technique: Client choice of Hand Shibori (Tie-Dye), Hand Bandhej (Knotted), or Floral Brush Painting.
- Placement: Art typically covers the Pallu and runs along borders or pleats.
- Type: Strictly manual work with visible unique imperfections, not digital print.
Finishing
- Edging: Double pico and cotton fall stitched.
- Tassels: Custom handmade silk thread tassels (Kuchu) color-matched to the artwork.
- Prep: Pre-softened for easy draping.
Scallop Cutwork & Embroidery Saree

- Border: Signature Scallop Cutwork (curved edges) reinforced with embroidery.

- Placement: Intricate storytelling art (Mythological figures, Peacocks) on Pallu and Blouse Back/Sleeves.
- Dye: Manual application of Natural Vegetable Dyes or Chemical Dyes.
- Authenticity: Unique drawing strokes and distinct smell of processing materials (milk/alum).

- Embroidery Your Way: From Lambani for a bright look, Kantha stitch for that classic vibe, and floral cut work on borders, to Cross-Stitch and Pita Work. You pick, we stitch.
- Personalized Colour & Dye: Got a colour in mind? I can get sarees dyed to your custom palette. We do Shibori (Japanese tie-dye) and Bandhej by hand, so every saree’s pattern is different.

- Custom Tassels: We design tassels to match your saree and blouse.
- Pico & Fall: Done. Especially useful if you’re overseas.
