Handcrafted Mysore Crepe & Custom Art Sarees
This is my favorite collection—a mix of everything I love. From the depth of hand-painted Pen Kalamkari to the delicate flow of Shibori and intricate hand-embroidery, these sarees show exactly what I do best.
I want to show you the journey of a Pen Kalamkari saree. We start with a pure white crepe fabric, which our artists then transform with hand-drawn designs on the pallu and blouse. After the artwork is complete, we custom dye the saree to the client's preferred color, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
This is a beautiful example of a finished Pen Kalamkari piece on pure Mysore crepe. The design is a *partly pallu* pattern, where the intricate artwork flows over the pleats and border, complemented by a rich golden zari pallu. It's a limited stock design that is truly unique.
I love working with traditional arts like Lambani embroidery, seen here on a pure Mysore crepe silk saree. This video shows the variety we can create, from designs on the pallu and border to all-over patterns. Each piece is exclusive and we rarely repeat designs, so you get something that is all yours.
For a more contemporary and elegant look, I create pieces like this pure organza saree. It features a large scallop border detailed with delicate pearl and Pita work embroidery. The matching blouse also has Pita work on the sleeves, making it a perfect, unique outfit for a special occasion.
This is the magic of handmade Shibori, a traditional Japanese dyeing technique, on pure Mysore crepe silk. Unlike digital prints, every pattern is created by hand, so no two sarees are ever the same. These sarees have a wonderful flow and are available in several unique color combinations.
I enjoy creating fusion sarees that combine different art forms. This pure tussar silk saree features handmade Shibori dyeing throughout the body, paired with a pallu that has intricate cross-stitch embroidery. The blouse fabric continues the theme with delicate rose knot embroidery.
It brings me so much joy to see my clients looking stunning in their custom sarees. This client is wearing our fancy tissue saree with a beautiful pearl scallop border, a perfect choice for an elegant, understated look.
A classic look that is always in demand. This is a pure Mysore crepe saree in a checkered pattern with floral embroidery and cut work along the border. It comes with a rich pallu and a plain blouse, and we've made it in beautiful colors like this half-white and a trendy lavender.
About Featured
Every saree here starts with pure 100 GSM Mysore crepe silk, ensuring a drape that feels rich yet flows perfectly. Since I handle the hand-painting and embroidery in-house, you have the freedom to pick your colors and adjust the motifs. Because each piece is a unique creation, I don't hold stock of duplicates—once a design is gone, it is truly one of a kind.
When I talk about my featured collection, I am talking about the core of what my studio represents. Whether it is the traditional Srikalahasti style Pen Kalamkari or modern Japanese Shibori, the focus remains on the fabric and the human touch.
Why Mysore Crepe Silk
I insist on using 100 GSM pure Mysore crepe silk for most of these pieces. It provides a heavy, premium texture that holds the dye and embroidery work without sagging. It is the perfect canvas for the hand-painting artists I work with. You will feel the difference in the weight and the way it hugs your silhouette compared to mass-produced silks.
The Customization Journey
This is not a ready-made rack. You pick your base saree, and then we decide on the details. Do you want the Pen Kalamkari motifs on the pallu or the border? Should we add hand-dyed Shibori patterns to the center? Because we work this way, I can tailor the embroidery, like Pita work or Gota Patti, to suit your personal style.
Visit My Studio
While I update my online collection as often as I can, the full experience happens at my studio in Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Sometimes, you need to feel the fabric and see the colors in natural light to know which saree is meant for you. If you are in Bangalore, please drop by. If not, a quick video call works just as well. Just remember, these are unique, single-piece creations. Since I do not accept returns or exchanges, I always encourage you to chat with me first so we can make sure the saree you pick is perfect for your occasion.
