About Customized Blouse Design
Why I Love Custom Blouses
I get a kick out of mixing and matching blouses for sarees - especially those traditional Kanjeevarams and KSIC silks. Nothing beats that feeling when a client sees herself in a blouse made just for her. For me, a blouse isn't just extra; it can totally change your whole saree vibe.
How I Mix & Match
I’m all about contrast and texture.
- Rich silk sarees with velvet blouses, sometimes loaded with hand embroidery
- Simple sarees paired with printed organza or a custom Ikat blouse for a pop of personality
- I like giving heirloom sarees a fresh look, without killing their old-school charm
Wedding Looks & Muhurtham Blouses
If you want something special for your wedding trousseau, I’m here for it. I do detailed, ornate blouses for muhurtham and other events. I work with brides to make sure their blouse is as memorable as the day itself.
Details Matter
I go heavy on hand embroidery - Zardosi, knotwork, and cutwork, mostly. You’ll find floral and paisley patterns, birds, even some quirky stuff if you want. My blouses are known for creative backs: keyholes, deep Vs, arches, all finished off with embroidered edges and latkans (fancy tassels).
How I Work
Every blouse is custom, so I only take appointments. I sit with you, chat about your saree, your style, and what you want. We hash out all the details - design, fabric, embroidery - and then get to work on that perfect fit.
