About this collection
Because we follow traditional slow-cooking methods—like simmering milk for hours for our Rabdi or grating fresh coconut for our Chakki—we don't keep stock on shelves. Every order is prepared in our kitchen only after you request it, so please give us 2 days to get your mithai ready.
Our Approach to Mithai
When we say homemade, we mean it. In our kitchen, 'slow recipes' is not just a catchphrase; it is how we operate. Whether it is our Malai Rabdi thickened by hours of constant stirring or the delicate Nariyal ki Chakki garnished with edible silver vark, we focus on flavours that remind you of festivals at home. We avoid preservatives and artificial colours entirely.
What We Offer
Our menu evolves with the seasons and our family traditions:
- Daily Classics: Our signature Malai Rabdi, served in clay kulhads, and Nariyal ki Chakki made from fresh coconut.
- Seasonal Specials: During winter, you will find Til ke Ladoo. In summer, we whip up Aam ki Kheer or fresh Orange Sandesh. We even do festive treats like Seviyaan Fruit Custard for Christmas or Chandrakala for Holi.
- Gifting & Hampers: If you are looking to send mithai as a gift, we pack our sweets in beautiful, customisable boxes that are perfect for weddings, corporate events, or festive family gatherings.
The 'Desi Classics' Promise
We cook for you exactly how we cook for ourselves. We understand that Indian sweets are about more than just sugar; they are about nostalgia and sharing joy. Since we are a small setup based in Malad, we ensure that every batch is made with fresh ingredients. If you have specific dietary preferences, like Jain-friendly options, just let us know when you place your order. We are here to make your celebrations sweeter, one batch at a time.
Desi Classics
It is just me and my mom in the kitchen, laughing and fixing masalas together. We started Desi Classics to keep our family legacy alive, sharing the same recipes that filled our childhood home with joy.
