About this collection
Because we prioritize freshness over speed, we do not stock ready-to-eat meals. Everything you order, from the Pyaaz Ki Kachori batter to the slow-cooked Panchmel Dal, is made to order. This is why we need a 2-day lead time. It ensures you get the same quality and care we serve at our own family dining table.
Our kitchen does not have a commercial assembly line. Instead, it has two people—me and my mom—waking up at 3 AM to get the day started. When you look at our Rajasthani thali or our festive hampers, you are seeing food that has been treated with patience.
We follow the 'slow recipes' mantra because that is how Nani and Dadi taught us. Whether it is grinding the masalas fresh, slow-simmering our Panchmel Dal for hours, or kneading the dough for Khoba Roti, we refuse to take shortcuts. It is about the smell of fresh ghee and the authentic taste of Sheherwali traditions.
We source quality ingredients daily, meaning our kitchen stays 100% vegetarian and strictly fresh. If you have special dietary requirements like Jain food, let us know and we will adjust our preparations accordingly. This process isn't just about cooking; it is about keeping our family legacy alive and sharing it with your family.
Desi Classics
I'm the daughter in this duo, and my mom is the heart of the kitchen. We started Desi Classics to share the recipes we grew up with, cooking daily just like we do for our own family.
