Why We Cook
I started Desi Classics with my mom, just wanting to keep our nani-dadi (grandmothers) recipes alive. The feeling of 'maa ke haath ka khana' (food made by mom) is what I want you to taste. This isn’t a brand, it’s our kitchen - we cook for you like we cook for our own.
What Makes Our Meals Different
- Everything is made fresh, only after you order. We wake up crazy early (3 AM types) to start prepping.
- No shortcuts - only slow, traditional cooking. Our menu is full of family recipe Indian meals, not fusion or trendy stuff.
- We use top quality ingredients, but honestly, sometimes sourcing gets tough. Still, we don’t compromise.
- 100% vegetarian kitchen. If you need Jain-friendly Indian dishes, just tell us.

Our roots are in homemade Rajasthani cuisine and Sheherwali food. But you’ll find North Indian classics, Gujarati specials, and Mumbai street snacks too. Dal Makhani, Amritsari Chole, Undhiyu, and more.

My Story
It’s me and my mom, always together in the kitchen, laughing and fixing masalas. Desi Classics started from our late-night chats and memories—recipes from nani, dadi, festival mornings, thalis full of love. Our food’s not just a meal, it’s maa ke haath ka khana (food made by mom’s hands). When someone says our Besan Chakki tastes like Jodhpur mithai, that’s everything. We still cook with our whole heart, every order, every day.
