Sitting in Dhyana mudra, the gesture of meditation, calms the mind and brings balance. I practice this regularly to cultivate inner peace and focus, a core part of the Zen techniques I teach.

With a prayer to Amitabha Buddha, we cultivate focus and spiritual connection. This posture, performed at a sacred site, is a part of the Zen meditation and chanting we practice.

About Zen Meditation & Philosophy

You do not need prior experience to start this path. In my sessions, we focus on the Dhyana mudra and specific breathing patterns to steady your thoughts before we begin physical work. This is the foundation for everything else, as a calm mind makes a stronger body.
