I teach you to move with intention. Real combat is not about fancy tricks. It is about basics, repetition, and keeping your guard strong.

Here, I am demonstrating a practical application of the Shaolin Qi Xing Quan form. We break down the sequence step by step, focusing on blocking, striking, and takedowns for real-world self-defense.

I guide a student through a basic partner drill. This exercise develops sensitivity, timing, and the ability to control an opponent's arms in close-range encounters.

This is the same partner drill, focusing on the flow between blocking and controlling movements. Repetition builds muscle memory for real-world self-defense scenarios.

A student practices a takedown drill. We focus on using an opponent's momentum against them. This is a key principle in practical, close-quarters self-defense.

Two students sparring in a controlled environment. This drill focuses on footwork, distance management, and applying techniques learned in solo forms against a moving partner.

A montage of various students practicing combat techniques in a group class. You can see different drills in action, from striking combinations to defensive partner work.

This clip shows students of different levels training together. My classes are open to everyone, and we focus on building a strong foundation regardless of your starting point.

A closer look at partner drills during a group session. This type of training is essential for learning how to react to a live opponent in a self-defense situation.

About Shaolin Combat & Self-Defense

In my classes, we strip away the noise. Before you throw a punch, we drill your stance until your body weight stays exactly where it needs to be for maximum power. Whether it is Sanda kickboxing or close-range knife defense, every movement you see here is a repetition we have practiced until it becomes instinct. You do not just learn a move; you learn how to make it work when it matters.
