Boxing Fundamentals
I provide step-by-step instruction on the core principles of boxing. We cover everything from the basic stance and guard to punch combinations and essential footwork drills.
Shaolin Combat & Self-Defense
This is where we apply traditional Shaolin forms to practical, unarmed combat situations. Training includes partner drills, close-range techniques, and takedown basics for effective self-defense.
Weapons Training: Eskrima & Staff
I teach weapon-based systems including traditional Shaolin staff work and Filipino stick fighting, known as Dacayana Eskrima. We also cover practical knife defense fundamentals based on my training in Cebu, Philippines.
Strength & Discipline
Martial skill is built on a foundation of physical strength and mental discipline. My sessions incorporate conditioning exercises to build a strong body, and we constantly reinforce the principle that repetition is the mother of all skill.
My Shaolin Lineage & Journey
I am a 34th Generation Shaolin Temple Warrior Disciple, known as Shi Yan Xiang. My skills come from years of dedicated training at the Shaolin Temple in China and with masters in the Philippines, and I am committed to preserving this authentic lineage.
