Real-World Self-Defense & Combat Techniques
I do not teach movie moves or Instagram trends. If you want to learn how to handle real, dangerous situations when it matters most, you are in the right place. This is not about fighting; it is about surviving.
This is the reality check. An attack is not a movie scene. I show you what it really takes to give yourself a fighting chance, focusing on how to handle fear and use technique against a stronger opponent in common assault situations.
Forget the fake self-defense you see on social media. Those tricks will get you hurt. I teach what works under pressure, based on years of professional fighting and coaching experience. This is about real-world safety, not looking cool.
Most fights end up on the ground, especially in attacks against women. In this grappling workshop, I am demonstrating takedowns and control positions. Learning to fight on the ground is not optional; it is a critical survival skill.
An inside look at one of my MMA workshops. I break down techniques step by step, from stand-up to ground fighting. My students learn practical skills for real-life encounters, including takedown defense and escapes.
Here I am drilling takedowns and ground control. Repetition is key to making these movements second nature. In a real situation, you won't have time to think, so your body must know how to react.
About Real-World Scenarios & Techniques
Most self-defense classes focus on theory, but I focus on survival. We use pressure-testing drills where I replicate the weight and aggression of a real attacker, forcing you to think while under stress. You will learn how to use leverage to escape when you are pinned, because that is where most violent situations actually end.
Forget the flashy kicks and choreographed sequences you see on social media. Those moves fail the second the adrenaline spikes. My approach at BFC Bodyforce is based on what I have used in the octagon and on the street: practical MMA, Boxing, and BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) techniques adapted for genuine personal safety.
Why Theory Fails
When a real threat appears, your brain goes into panic mode. If you have only practiced movements in the air, you will freeze. My training creates 'muscle memory' through controlled resistance. We simulate the chaos of a real attack so you learn to maintain your breathing and focus, even when you are physically overwhelmed.
Core Combat Modules
- Ground Survival: Most assaults involve the victim being forced to the ground. I teach you how to maintain space, use your legs for defense, and execute escapes that work even against a larger, stronger opponent.
- Vital Striking: You do not need to be a professional fighter to stop a threat. I teach you how to strike vulnerable targets effectively to create the split-second opening needed to escape.
- Threat Recognition: True self-defense starts before a fight begins. We train you to spot the pre-fight indicators, verbal queues, and environmental risks that others ignore.
Who This Is For
This training is for anyone who wants to stop relying on luck. Whether you are a student, a professional working late shifts, or someone looking to build real confidence, these sessions provide the tools to handle physical aggression. We train in Bengaluru at my facilities in Horamavu and Richards Town, keeping the environment focused and strictly professional. Come ready to work, not to perform.
