We turn stories into an outdoor adventure. Join us every weekend on our mats under the trees for tales brought to life with songs, movement, and plenty of imagination.

A candid moment from our Mother's Day session, with parents and children gathered on mats, completely engrossed in the story. This is the relaxed, community atmosphere we cherish at our outdoor storytelling workshops.

I love these moments of connection. Here I am, waving to the group as a mother shares a quiet moment with her child. Our sessions are as much for the parents to relax and bond as they are for the kids to play.

Reading a storybook to an attentive group of toddlers and parents. You can see the mix of ages and the comfortable, casual setting that makes our Cubbon Park storytelling sessions so special for the whole family.

A wider view of our story circle under the trees. Families spread out on their mats, listening in. This image captures the scale of our community and the beautiful, natural setting of our weekend workshops.

A guest storyteller captivates the audience during our Holi celebration. We often invite friends to share their tales, bringing diverse voices and styles to our children's literature sessions.

Here I am, in my element, narrating a story with animated expressions. I believe in performing the story, not just reading it, to truly capture the children's imagination during our interactive reading events.

Getting down to the children's level to make the story more personal and engaging. This close interaction helps even the youngest listeners feel connected to the narrative and the characters.

Some days are beautifully chaotic, and that's the reality of outdoor storytelling with toddlers. This picture shows the mix of listening, playing, and wandering that makes each session unique and memorable.

A quiet moment of reading to a small, focused group. Even when some kids are off playing, others find a calm space to connect with a book, showing how our sessions cater to different moods and needs.

A child stands up, fully engaged, while I read from a colorful book. It's this freedom of movement and expression that we encourage, allowing kids to experience stories in a way that feels natural to them.

About The Heart of Our Story Circle

Here is the reality: we do not always finish the book. Sometimes a toddler decides to chase a sprinkler, and that is exactly what we want. We believe in letting children follow their curiosity, so expect a blend of structured narration and the beautiful, natural chaos of playing in the park.

When we say storytelling, we do not mean sitting still for an hour. Our circle is about movement and sensory experience. One moment we are acting out a classic, and the next, we are collecting leaves, painting, or blowing bubbles. It is about keeping the tradition of Kahaani Puraani (stories of old) alive while we create new ones on the spot based on what the kids are interested in that day.

Whether it is a festival special or a lazy Saturday, we keep the vibe relaxed and inclusive. Parents are not just observers here; you are part of the circle. Whether you want to sing along, help with a craft, or just watch your child roam free in the park, there is space for everyone. We operate on a drop-in friendly basis, but it is always a good idea to check in before the weekend, especially if the weather looks tricky. We bring the books, the mats, and the props; just bring your curiosity and maybe a hat for the little ones.

I started this to share the joy of reading with my son, and it grew into this wonderful weekend circle. I love the messy, unpredictable magic that happens when kids connect with stories in the fresh air.
