Saturday Story Club: Adventures for Young Readers
Ditch the quiet corners. Every Saturday, we turn books into wild adventures with interactive stories, hands-on crafts, and games for kids aged 3 to 9.
We're going on a lion hunt for World Lion Day! We celebrate the king of all animals by reading true stories, discovering fun facts, and making a beautiful lion craft to take home.
Slither over for a fabuloussss time! For World Snake Day, we hosted a session to shed our fears and learn about these misunderstood creatures through stories, crafts, and games.
Have you heard of Norman, the silly slug? We had a laugh-out-loud time with this story, followed by lots of sensory play with slime, dough, and rainbow rice to create a new shell for Norman.
Waddle over and chill with us! We celebrated Penguin Fun day by learning amazing facts about these cute birds, reading a story about a brave little penguin, and making an adorable craft.
Ready for a high-energy Storyhunt? This exciting event combines storytelling with a treasure hunt, keeping kids engaged and energized as they soar high and chase fantastic stories around the library.
Listen, O King! Do you love riddles? This Saturday session was full of mind-boggling fun with tales of Vikram and Betal, putting everyone's head to the test with exciting brain teasers.
A spooky, not-so-scary Halloween Book Picnic! We read fun Halloween-themed books, danced to the 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' rhyme, and made adorable dancing scarecrow stick puppets.
The kids had a jelly good time with our 'Under the Sea' theme. We read stories about ocean creatures and then made beautiful jellyfish suncatchers to take home.

A Saturday morning spent exploring the world of bugs! We learned about insects, shared bug jokes, and made cool collage art inspired by the beautiful patterns on beetles and butterflies.
About Saturday Story Club
These sessions run for 60 to 90 minutes and aren't about sitting still. Whether we are hunting for treasure based on a story or making slime to create a shell for a slug, your child is constantly moving, thinking, and playing. We pack every Saturday with enough excitement to ensure they enjoy the experience so much, they forget they are learning.
How Our Saturday Sessions Work
We break down our sessions to keep the energy high and the attention span focused. Each meeting follows a simple, proven rhythm:
- Interactive Storytelling (30-45 mins): We don't just read. We act. We use voices, props, and questions to pull the kids into the narrative. One week it might be 'Vikram and Betal' riddles, the next it is a scientific discovery about bugs or space.
- Themed Hands-on Activity (45-60 mins): This is where the mess happens. Kids dive into crafts, sensory bins with rice or oobleck, or treasure hunts. They take home whatever they create, whether it is a jellyfish suncatcher or a custom book cover.
Why Join?
If your child thinks reading is a chore, this is the remedy. By linking stories to tactile play, we help children build a positive relationship with books. We group kids by age, so toddlers get sensory play while older kids tackle complex riddles and math games. We even include a kid-friendly snack, so they can refuel after the excitement.

- Location: Join us at our library space in Koramangala 3rd Block.
- Age Group: 3 to 9 years (we group them appropriately).
- Take-Home: Every child leaves with their art project.
