About Muay Thai Technique & Drills
We focus on the Art of Eight Limbs, where technique matters significantly more than raw power. Whether you are holding pads for a partner or drilling a roundhouse kick, our priority is precision, balance, and timing, rather than just going hard for the sake of it.
Muay Thai is called the Art of Eight Limbs for a reason. At our club, you are not here just to sweat; you are here to learn how to use your fists, elbows, knees, and shins effectively. We spend significant time on technical drills—checking kicks, mastering the clinch, and refining footwork—before you ever step into a spar.
The Training Philosophy
As we often say, "Rato mat, samjho" (Don't just cram, understand). If you do not grasp the physics of your stance or the timing of your strike, you are merely flailing. We ensure you get the fundamentals right, whether you are a complete beginner or training for local competitions.
Sparring and Conditioning
Sparring sessions are always controlled. You will train with full gear, and we emphasize technical exchanges to build your defensive reflexes without unnecessary injury. We balance this with intense conditioning, including heavy bag work and our signature 100-kick drills. It is physically demanding, but it builds the engine you need to perform.
We operate with a consistent 5 PM to 9 PM training window. This time is dedicated to individual feedback and small group instruction, ensuring you get the attention you need to actually improve.
