Muay Thai is the Art of 8 Limbs, and every strike—punch, kick, elbow, or knee—has a logical purpose. Here, we break down the mechanics, timing, and defensive drills to ensure your form is solid before you start hitting with power.

Here, my students are practicing basic striking and defense. One student delivers a kick while another holds the pad, learning both how to strike and how to absorb impact correctly.

I believe in hands-on teaching. I personally correct a student's form during a partner drill, ensuring he understands the fine details of a block before moving on to the next technique.

The energy in the gym is always high. Students are seen here practicing their punches and movements, with me giving encouragement. Badhiya, badhiya! Keep the pace.

This is a close-range knee strike drill, known as 'Khao tee'. We focus on controlling the opponent in the clinch and delivering powerful knee strikes to the body.

A student practices his boxing fundamentals, throwing a straight punch at the focus mitts. We build a strong foundation in boxing as it is crucial for effective Muay Thai.

I am holding a body pad for a student to practice powerful elbow strikes. This drill helps build the muscle and technique needed for devastating close-range attacks.

This drill focuses on combining punches and kicks seamlessly. A student practices a sequence on the pads, learning to transition from hand strikes to powerful kicks like a pro.

Here, a student works on a combination of punches and a knee strike. I am instructing him to be explosive and maintain his guard. Aur zor se!

This is a self-defense drill against an elbow strike. I am demonstrating how to block and counter, teaching practical techniques that can be used in real-life situations.

We start with the basics. This video shows a beginner learning the fundamental punch and kick, and another student practicing with a traditional wooden dummy to improve accuracy.

About Technique Drills: The Art of 8 Limbs

You won't just start hitting bags blindly here. We spend real time on stance and footwork first. Whether it's a knee strike (khao tee) or a defensive block, I focus on the logic behind the move. If your form is off, we fix it until it becomes muscle memory, not just a random motion.

Muay Thai is not just about raw power. It is about understanding how to use every part of your body. In our sessions at Sadiq Nagar and Siri Fort, we prioritize technique over vanity.

Why Technique Comes First

Every movement, from a straight punch to a clinch, needs to be efficient. If your posture is wrong, you lose power and leave yourself open. I watch every student to ensure their guard is up, their hips are engaged, and their strikes are clean. We use pad work to build rhythm, not just to make noise.

The Core Drills

  • Stance & Footwork: The foundation. You cannot strike if you cannot move. We teach you how to maintain balance while delivering attacks.
  • Khao Tee (Knee Strikes): We teach you how to control the clinch and deliver knees effectively without losing your stability.
  • Defensive Blocks: Learning how to absorb a hit is just as important as throwing one. We drill these counters until they become instinct.
  • Pad Work: This is where we refine your precision. I hold the pads to teach you how to time your strikes and transition from a jab to a low kick seamlessly.

Whether you are training for fitness or competition, the logic remains the same. Discipline builds a fighter, not a crash course. If you are ready to put in the work and sweat, come join us.
