Thoughtful Landscape and Urban Design for Modern Spaces
We believe landscapes should be more than just greenery; they should be the living, breathing heart of a home or a community. From private residential courtyards to master-planned townships, we shape environments that invite connection, play, and quiet reflection.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** We transformed a flat, underused courtyard into a dynamic landscape. A continuous, curving terrazzo bench snakes through the space, introducing movement and creating functional zones for seating, playing, and gathering.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** The 'Playfold' bench is a multifunctional element that redefines the courtyard as a lived-in outdoor room. It becomes a breakfast table, a cozy nook, a barbeque platform, and a playful ramp for children, all in one continuous form.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** An overhead view of a seating nook created by the curving bench. The design carves out intimate spaces for conversation and relaxation, surrounded by lush greenery.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** The terrazzo bench is backed by a simple wooden fence, providing support and a warm, textural contrast. This area is perfect for family meals or small gatherings, seamlessly integrated into the garden.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** The design encourages movement and exploration. The pathway and bench guide you through the garden, creating a journey with different views and experiences along the way.
**Playfold, Ahmedabad:** The sculptural form of the bench is surrounded by dense, layered planting, creating a private oasis. The design transforms a simple backyard into a vibrant, tactile extension of the home.

About Landscape & Urban Design
When we approach a landscape, we don't start with a list of plants or expensive hardscaping. We start by asking how you actually live in that space. For our Playfold project, we realized the family didn't need a sprawling, unused lawn. By swapping that for a winding, multi-use terrazzo bench, we turned a static patch of grass into a dynamic space where the family eats breakfast, children play, and friends gather.
We view landscape architecture not as a final garnish, but as the foundational layer of how people experience a building or a neighbourhood. Whether it is a private courtyard in Ahmedabad or an integrated township in Indore, our design process centers on the user's daily movement rather than how the site looks in a glossy render.
The 'Lived-in' Landscape
Our courtyard designs, like the Playfold project, are about transforming dead space into a functional room. We analyze the sun path and the family's habits, then introduce sculptural elements like the terrazzo bench that snakes through the site. This single, fluid form changes its purpose based on the time of day: a breakfast area in the morning, a play ramp for children in the afternoon, and a conversation nook in the evening. It is about creating a dialogue between the architecture of the house and the nature around it.
Master Planning and Community
For our large-scale master planning projects like the Tricone City Extension, we focus on 'Nature in Pockets.' We avoid large, empty open spaces that are rarely used. Instead, we create a network of interconnected zones—bioswales, pocket greens, and active sports courts—that act as a green corridor for the entire township. By designing specific features like a 'Flowering Tree Loop' or seating coves, we ensure that the infrastructure actively encourages walking, social interaction, and a genuine connection to nature.
Sustainability Through Context
Sustainability isn't a checkbox for us; it is a response to the climate. We prioritize native planting strategies and local materials that thrive in the regional weather, ensuring the landscape is resilient and manageable in the long run. We design to retain water, promote natural cooling, and allow the space to evolve as the trees and plants mature.
