Dynamic Workspaces and Commercial Hubs Designed for Connection
We build spaces that work as hard as the people in them. From vibrant restaurants that capture cultural stories to calm, focused offices, our design focuses on flow, light, and a sense of shared purpose.
**Tres Amigos, Ahmedabad:** A video glimpse into the vibrant world of Tres Amigos. The design is inspired by the rich cultural landscape of Mexico, with a 42-foot long central table, arched booth seating, and custom textiles creating an immersive and festive dining atmosphere.
**Tres Amigos, Ahmedabad:** This feature in The Architect's Diary highlights our team's collaborative approach to design. For Tres Amigos, all eight partners contributed to weaving together a rich cultural narrative with elegant design.
**Eat Punjab, Gandhinagar:** This isometric drawing shows our design for the Gandhinagar outlet, featuring curving booth seating and integrated ceiling elements. The design creates intimate dining pods while maintaining a sense of communal energy, with cane and wood adding warmth.
**Eat Punjab, Gandhinagar:** The floor plan for the Gandhinagar branch illustrates how we used a central, serpentine seating arrangement to guide flow and create dynamic spaces. This layout offers a mix of seating types to cater to different group sizes and dining experiences.
**Eat Punjab, Bopal:** An isometric view of the Bopal outlet's key feature: a long, linear communal table anchored by an overhead wooden latticework. This design element not only provides lighting but also reinforces the brand's identity and the Punjabi tradition of community feasts.
**Eat Punjab, Bopal:** The floor plan for the Bopal outlet shows the rhythmic, orderly layout centered around the long communal table. Fabric-insert partitions provide moments of privacy without isolating diners from the lively atmosphere.
**Eat Punjab, Chandkheda:** This drawing shows the hanging communal table designed for the compact Chandkheda outlet. The suspended structure with a fabric light above is a space-saving solution that serves as a striking central feature.
**Eat Punjab, Chandkheda:** The floor plan for the Chandkheda branch demonstrates how we adapt our core design concepts to different spatial constraints. The central table remains the heart of the experience, even in a tighter, cozier layout.
**Slicing the Void, Ahmedabad:** This workspace design is built on the concept of slanted walls and angular flooring to divide the space. Terracotta tiles differentiate the formal work zone from meeting areas, creating a dynamic and efficient office layout.
**On The Grid, Ahmedabad:** The floor plan for this travel agency office is based on a strict grid, which informs everything from the flooring to the furniture layout. This minimalist approach, using white marble and gray terrazzo, creates a clean, organized, and spacious feel.
About Dynamic Workspaces & Commercial Hubs
Designing a workspace is about more than just square footage. We prioritize the flow of movement and light, ensuring that your office or restaurant feels intuitive. Whether it’s a quiet site office or a bustling dining hall, we focus on material textures and spatial planning that make your daily operations feel grounded and seamless.
Our commercial design practice is rooted in the idea that a space should enhance, not dictate, your daily life. We approach workspaces and commercial hubs as distinct organisms that need to breathe and adapt. For restaurants like Tres Amigos or the Eat Punjab outlets, we utilize elements like communal tables and custom latticework to foster a sense of togetherness. We believe that diners should feel connected to the food and each other, which guides our choices in seating density and acoustic planning.
In our office projects, such as On the Grid and Slicing the Void, we apply a minimalist lens to maximize utility. We use a precise grid or angular geometry to define zones without adding unnecessary walls. This method creates a sense of openness even in compact spaces. We also emphasize material honesty; using terrazzo, terracotta, and exposed brick allows the space to age gracefully with minimal maintenance. Every design decision, from the sun-path analysis during site planning to the final placement of light fixtures, is made to ensure your commercial space works as hard as your business does.
