About this collection
Whether it is a spooky Halloween setup or a quirky beret-wearing cat, my themed sessions start with a real, high-quality portrait. I treat these like architectural projects where the foundation is your pet's true personality, and the theme is just the playful layer we add on top to make the final art piece pop.
The secret to a great themed shoot is not forcing a pet to sit still in a costume for an hour. Dogs and cats have their own agendas, and as an architect who traded blueprints for a camera, I have learned that the best results come from working with their flow, not against it.
My process for these sessions is simple. We capture the base imagery—the expressions, the poses, and the natural interactions—in a comfortable environment at my Ganganagar studio or a familiar location in Bengaluru. Once we have the perfect raw shot, I use digital artistry to build the theme around them. This lets me add fun elements like festive props or whimsical backgrounds without stressing your furbaby out.
This approach works for everything from holiday concepts to high-speed action composites.
