The Scamp Chronicles: Creative Pet Photography in Bangalore
I am an architect who spends more time chasing my beagle, Scamp, than designing buildings. This collection is our visual playground—where structural precision meets canine chaos.
Here's Scamp, my chief model, posing in front of some beautiful brick architecture. He’s a master at looking regal, right before he tries to eat something he shouldn't.
Scamp contemplating his handsome reflection. I often wonder what he's thinking. Probably about when his next meal is. This was a fun indoor shoot playing with mirrors and light.
The classic beagle butt shot! Scamp leading the way up the stairs, always on a mission. This series was about capturing movement and form within an architectural space.
Presenting Mr. Indy Scampy Bones, the daring adventurer! This was a fun, themed AI-assisted shoot where I imagined Scamp on an epic quest for treats.
A peek-a-boo shot from the stairwell series. Scamp’s curiosity is one of his most defining traits, and I love capturing it from unique angles.
A closer view of Scamp on his way upstairs. My architect's eye loves the lines and textures of the stairs against his classic beagle markings.
A close-up of Scamp sniffing his reflection. The detail on the carved wood frame adds a nice contrast to his soft fur.
Scamp looking back from the mirror, as if to ask, "Are you getting my good side?"
An AI-generated image of Scamp in a dramatic, sandy ruin, looking like the hero of an adventure movie.

About The Scamp Chronicles
These images are where my background as an architect meets the unpredictable nature of a beagle. I apply the same structural precision—alignment, light, and balance—to these frames as I do to my blueprints, but with a lot more treats and definitely more patience for the chaos.
When you look at these photos, you are seeing two things at once: a love letter to my dog and a demonstration of my technical process. Whether I am shooting in the heritage-rich corners of Bengaluru or setting up a studio session, I rely on my architectural eye to find the perfect frame. But because a pet is not a static structure, I have to be fast.
I treat every project like this one—as a collaboration. If you have an energetic pet, I am not trying to make them sit still and stare at a lens. I am waiting for the 'zoomies', the leaps, or the quiet moment they finally stop to sniff a flower. My goal is to capture the personality that you see at home, not a stiff portrait.
For those who want something truly unique, I also offer themed, creative shoots. We can use lighting and post-production techniques—similar to the adventure sequences you see in this gallery—to tell a story. If you want to turn these memories into physical pieces, I specialize in creating custom wall art and photobooks that are designed to complement your home's interior, not just sit on a hard drive.
