My approach to themed pet photography is rooted in the idea that the best photos happen when there is zero pressure. Whether we are shooting for a brand like Heads Up For Tails or creating custom visuals for a small business, my process starts with a discovery call. We align on your brand colors and mood, and then I get to work designing a set that complements your products without overshadowing your furry model.
My Creative Process
- Concept & Consultation: We start with a 30-minute chat to define the vibe. Are we going for vibrant and chaotic, or soft and minimalist? I build the mood board based on this conversation.
- Sustainable Styling: I believe in eco-friendly photography. I frequently use props that are upcycled or sustainable—turning simple items like paper backdrops or everyday objects into creative, high-impact photo zones.
- Pet-First Handling: This is the most important part. I have plenty of treats, patience, and a few tricks up my sleeve to keep pets engaged. If your pet is shy, we take it slow. If they are hyperactive, we incorporate that movement into the shots.
