Let’s take your pet out of the studio and into their favorite playground. Whether it’s a quiet morning by the river or a stroll through Bangalore's heritage architecture, I capture your pet at their happiest, wildest best.

A majestic indie dog posing like royalty in front of a historic Lodhi Garden tomb. This image perfectly blends my love for architecture and animals, creating a powerful environmental portrait.

My beagle Scamp, looking thoughtful by the riverbank on a misty morning. The soft, natural light and serene water create a peaceful, almost philosophical mood.

A stunning Bengal cat in its element. The intricate patterns on its coat are mirrored by the textures of the woods, showcasing this breed's wild and beautiful ancestry.

This sandy-faced dog looks out over a mountain river, a true adventurer. Outdoor photography tells a story of exploration and freedom, capturing pets in breathtaking landscapes.

A happy Golden Retriever enjoying a walk. The warm tones of the background complement his beautiful coat, creating a lovely, candid portrait.

A regal-looking tabby cat perched on a rooftop, surveying its kingdom against a backdrop of lush green leaves.

My muse, Scamp, posing in front of an exposed-brick building. This is where my two worlds collide: the clean lines of architecture and the delightful chaos of a beagle.

About this collection

When I shoot outdoors, I don’t just look for a pretty background; I look for geometry that frames your pet perfectly. Whether we’re navigating the bustling textures of a historic site or the soft, morning light in a park, I use my architectural background to create balance rather than just a quick snapshot. My job is to find the quiet, stable structure within your pet’s natural, zigzagging energy.

Beyond the Studio: Why Outdoor Sessions Work

Pet photography isn't just about perfectly lit studio portraits. Sometimes, the best art happens when a dog is doing what they love—sniffing the grass, chasing a ball, or just sitting majestically against an old brick arch. By moving our session to Bangalore’s vibrant outdoor spots, we unlock a completely different side of your pet.

My Architectural Approach to Nature

I approach parks and cityscapes with the same eye I used when designing buildings. I’m always looking for leading lines, natural symmetry, and how the light hits a specific wall or tree at 8 AM. This helps me turn a simple walk in the park into a structured, storytelling portrait.

  • Heritage & Texture: We can use Bangalore’s rich architectural history—exposed brick, arched doorways, or stone ruins—to add depth and a unique, timeless feel to your photos.
  • Natural Light: I prefer the 'golden hour' or the soft, diffused light of a misty morning. It brings out the texture in your pet's fur and creates that soft, dreamy look that flash photography just can’t replicate.

Practical Tips for a Smooth Outdoor Shoot

  1. Pick Your Vibe: Does your pet love the open, grassy expanses of a park, or do they have a 'gentleman' personality that suits urban, heritage structures? Let’s pick a location that matches their spirit.
  2. The 'Treat' Factor: Outdoor locations mean distractions. I always recommend bringing their absolute favorite, high-value treats to help us keep their attention during the shoot.
  3. Timing is Everything: To get the best light and avoid crowds, I prefer starting early. It’s cooler for the pets and much easier to get those calm, thoughtful shots before the city fully wakes up.

I’m Mamta. I spent years studying buildings, but I prefer chasing tails around them. I’m the one who will lie on the grass, get dusty, and wait for that one perfect blink-and-you-miss-it expression, just to get the shot right.
