Metcon & WOD Training: Build Your Engine
High-intensity circuits that combine strength and cardio. Every session is different, focusing on capacity, speed, and form under the watchful eye of a head coach.
Every day, the Workout of the Day (WOD) is different. This session shows a classic combination of rowing for cardio and kettlebell swings for explosive power, targeting both aerobic and anaerobic systems in a single, efficient workout.
Double unders are more than just jumping rope; they are a high-skill movement that builds cardiovascular health, endurance, and neurological coordination. Here, a member works on his rhythm and timing, a key component of many of our Metcon workouts.

Agility is a key component of functional fitness. This workout incorporates box jumps and resistance band sprints to improve the body's ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly and efficiently.
A challenging circuit in action. This member moves between kettlebell swings, box jumps, and pull-ups, demonstrating the kind of varied, high-intensity training that defines our Metcon sessions.
Combining cardio and weights is the most efficient way to train. This workout shows members performing overhead squats and then immediately transitioning into running, a potent mix that boosts metabolism and builds work capacity.
The sound of sweat and effort. This video captures the atmosphere of a tough session, with members on the rower and performing heavy lifts. This is functional training designed to prevent injury and build strength for everyday life.
"One more, one more!" This is the sound of pushing past your limits. This clip shows the intensity of a class, with members on the rower, performing floor presses, and me pushing them to finish strong. The trophies in the background are a testament to our community's hard work.
The 5k row is a mental and physical test of endurance. Here, our members take on the challenge, building stamina and grit on the Concept2 rower. It's a benchmark workout that we use to track progress over time.
Push. Rise. This is our philosophy. We push our limits with challenging Metcon workouts and rise to become stronger, leaner, and more capable. This video captures the essence of our training, from kettlebell work to heavy deadlifts.
About Metcon & WODs: The Engine Room
You won't just blindly follow a whiteboard here. During a Metcon session, I am watching your form on every rower stroke and kettlebell swing. If your technique breaks down, you will hear me say 'Jaldi mat kar' (Don't rush) immediately. We prioritize moving well over moving fast because technique is the only way to build real, lasting capacity.
Our Metcon and WOD (Workout of the Day) sessions are designed to test your limits while building raw work capacity. In the 'Engine Room', we aren't just chasing sweat. We are training your aerobic and anaerobic systems to work in sync.
Why Our Approach Works
Most gyms treat cardio and strength as separate entities. Here, we integrate them. You might start with a heavy lift to tax your central nervous system and immediately transition into a high-intensity cardio burst on a Concept2 rower or plyometric box. This mimics real-life demands where you need strength and stamina simultaneously.
What You Can Expect
Every day is a new challenge, so you will never fall into a plateau. We utilize:
- Technical Movement: We use Olympic lifting drills to ensure you have the mechanics down before adding intensity.
- Variable Stimulus: One day focuses on long-duration endurance, the next on short, explosive bursts.
- Coached Environment: You are never left to figure it out alone. I am there to adjust your grip, fix your squat depth, or tell you to hold your position when the fatigue sets in.
This is not a space for 'junk miles' or mindlessly jumping around. It is a space for disciplined, purposeful work. Whether you are prepping for an athletic goal or just want to build a body that is capable of handling whatever daily life throws at it, this is where you build that foundation. We build muscle and confidence, rep by rep.
