The Story of Troop HQ: Building a Home for Movement
Troop HQ is where my vision for sustainable fitness came to life. It is more than just a studio in Domlur; it is a space built for lasting strength, real mobility, and a community that grows together.
This is an introduction to me, the founder and head coach of Troop. I started my career in CrossFit but have since shifted my focus to sustainable practices like strength, movement, and mobility training. I specialize in creating personalized programs with a focus on proper technique and injury prevention.
The very beginning of a new chapter. This was taken during the construction of Troop HQ, a dream that was about to become a reality.
The countdown begins. This was 10 days before we opened the doors to our new home, Troop HQ. You can see the space coming together, with tools on the floor and rubber mats being rolled out.
A behind-the-scenes shot of the flooring being laid at Troop HQ. Every detail was part of building the vision for our community's home.
The calm before the storm. An empty Troop HQ, with the morning light streaming in, just waiting for the community to bring it to life.
My philosophy is to build consistency everywhere, and the gym is just the start. This view of Troop HQ reminds me that the habits we build here extend into every part of our lives.

About this collection
When I built Troop HQ, I wanted a space that felt like home, not a place you just endure. We keep our workshop groups intentionally small so I can actually coach you through movements rather than just watching from a distance, ensuring you have the space to learn, fall, and repeat until the skill sticks.
After years of bouncing between commercial gyms and training on my own, I knew exactly what was missing: a quiet, dedicated, and well-equipped space for skill-based work. Troop HQ in Domlur was built for this. We chose the layout, the high-quality rubber flooring, and the specific equipment—from gymnastics rings to parallettes—to support complex movements like handstands and planche progressions.
This is where we run our mobility workshops and host our intensive skill sessions. It is not about machines here; it is about having the floor space to move, practice, and apply biomechanics theory in real-time. Whether you are coming in for a fundamentals workshop or a specialized skill intensive, you are training in an environment designed by someone who actually practices what he teaches. We have built a community of 'Troopers' who show up to do the work, share the struggle, and get better together. This studio is the physical manifestation of my belief that progress should be steady, messy, and rewarding.
The Troop Fit
I'm Anuj. I built Troop HQ because I was tired of gyms that didn't support real, sustainable movement. This space is where I combine my coaching experience with the supportive community that makes the hard work worth it.
