Foundation of Strength: Core Boxing Training
Boxing is a fight with yourself. We strip away the gym frills and focus on the raw discipline, technique, and stamina required to step into the ring.
A young boxer works on his combinations with me on the focus pads. This is where we drill technique until it becomes second nature.

About The Akhada: Foundation of Strength
This is not a fitness gym where you count reps in front of a mirror. We focus on 'akhada' style conditioning: tractor tire flips, 5km outdoor runs, and relentless 1-on-1 pad work. You will learn the stance, the guard, and the discipline to execute, whether you are here for self-defense or competitive training.
The Akhada Approach
We believe the true test of a boxer happens in the arena, not a climate-controlled room. Our training grounds in Burari and Defence Colony are built for one purpose: to forge fighters. Whether you are a kid learning your first jab or an amateur training for Delhi State Championships, the method remains the same.
What We Focus On
- Fundamental Technique: Everything starts with your feet. We drill footwork, stance, and balance until they become second nature. You will spend hours mastering the jab, cross, hook, and uppercut on focus mitts and heavy bags.
- Conditioning: You will run in nearby parks and flip tractor tires. We use functional bodyweight exercises to ensure you have the stamina to survive three-minute rounds.
- Discipline: We maintain a military-style environment. If you show up, you work. We focus on punctuality and the mental grit required to stay in the fight when your body wants to quit.
Starting Your Journey
We offer two main tracks:
- Foundation Training: Perfect for beginners, focusing on core movements, pad work, and general fitness. This is where you build the foundation of your skill set.
- Competitive Track: For those who want to compete. This involves guaranteed Friday Fight Night sparring, corner management support, and advanced tactical drills to handle match pressure.
We provide the ring and the coaches; you bring the 'jigar' (courage). If you are looking for an authentic, no-nonsense environment to learn boxing in Delhi, this is where you start.
