Youth Boxing: Build Character and Strength
Don't just look for a gym. Bring your child to a place where they learn that true strength starts from within.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Our youngest boxer, Kanha, arriving at the akhada and getting straight to work on the punching bag.
Our beginner's class, with young boys and girls, learning the fundamentals of shadow boxing. We focus on making fitness fun and engaging.
One-on-one coaching with a young student. We give personal attention to ensure even our youngest members learn the correct technique from day one.
Teaching the basics of punching to one of our little warriors. Building a strong foundation is key.
Kids sparring in the ring. We teach them the importance of discipline and respect for their training partners from the very beginning.
A fun and energetic sparring session between two of our youngest boxers. This is how we introduce them to the sport in a positive way.
A group of our youngest students during a training session. We build discipline and teamwork through structured drills and exercises.
About this collection
Forget the AC gym. This is an akhada where kids learn discipline through sweat. From shadow boxing to pad work, every session builds the jigar, or courage, needed to face real world challenges, not just opponents in a ring. We do not offer shortcuts; we offer hard work that pays off.
Boxing is rarely just about throwing punches. For the children who train here, it is about learning how to stand tall when things get tough. I founded this academy to move away from the swanky gym culture and return to the roots of the sport. At our Burari and Defence Colony akhadas, the environment is raw. We use full boxing rings, punching bags, and outdoor tracks, but the real tools are discipline and consistency.
My program covers two main paths:
-
Foundation Training: This is where we break down the basics. Kids learn stance, footwork, and how to protect themselves. It is repetitive, it is challenging, and it is essential for building a foundation that lasts.
-
Competitive Track: For students who want to test their limits, we offer tactical sparring and tournament support. We have trained kids who have gone on to win at Delhi State and CBSE championships. This track requires a 3 month commitment because real progress cannot be faked.
We train 6 days a week, and I expect my students to show up on time. If your child is looking for a place to play, this might not be it. If they are looking to become a fighter, they are welcome.
Chandan Singh Boxing Academy
I believe every kid has a fighter inside. My job is to bring out that hunger, respect, and physical toughness. I don't care about their grades in school, I care about how they handle the pressure in the ring.
