If you think boxing is just cardio, you're at the wrong place. Here, we build the foundation—footwork, stance, and heavy bag technique. This is where fighters are forged.

Footwork is the foundation of every great boxer. Here, a fighter is using a balance board to improve his stability, coordination, and movement. These are the details that win fights.

We are always working on the basics. This video shows fighters practicing their jabs and crosses on different types of heavy bags, including a standard bag and an uppercut bag.

The real work is done in the dark to shine in the light. This is a fighter practicing his shadow boxing alone, perfecting his form when no one is watching. That is true dedication.

Transforming pain into power. This fighter is unloading on the heavy bag, then shows off his athleticism with a cartwheel. We build complete athletes who are both powerful and agile.

A look at different fighters practicing their shadow boxing. Some are in front of a mirror to check their form, while others are in the open, focusing on movement and combinations.

The ritual of a fighter. This video shows the quiet moments of wrapping hands before moving on to intense heavy bag work and shadow boxing. Every step of the process matters.

More advanced footwork drills. Using balance boards forces the fighter to engage their core and maintain a solid base while moving, which is critical for power and defense.

Fight for your fitness goals. This fighter is working the heavy bag, a fundamental drill for improving punching power, technique, and cardiovascular endurance all at once.

About Mastering the Craft: Drills & Basics

Don't come here looking for AC or shiny treadmills. We train in a basement with standard EVA foam mats and heavy bags, because that is where the real work happens. If you want to learn proper stance, footwork, and clean punch mechanics, you are in the right place, but bring your own towels and grit.
