About this collection

I work only with buttercream, which means my cakes stay soft and flavourful instead of just being sweet shells. Whether it is a sharp-edged modern design or the intricate piping on a vintage heart cake, my finish depends on precise temperature control and high-quality ingredients, not fondant overlays. This allows me to prioritize the taste of the sponge and filling while still achieving a clean, professional aesthetic.

My Approach to Cake Design

I believe a cake should be the star of the table, not just a decoration. My process starts with the flavour profile. Whether you want a rich chocolate ganache or a lighter fruit-forward sponge, the cake needs to be enjoyable to eat.

Styles I Focus On

  • Modern Buttercream: I use sharp edges and smooth finishes for a contemporary look. This includes drip cakes, ombre designs, and marble effects. I avoid fondant because it compromises the texture and sweetness balance I aim for.
  • Vintage & Lambeth: These are the heart-shaped or round cakes featuring intricate piping, ruffles, and swags. They are nostalgic and require steady handwork, which is one of my favourite styles to execute.
  • Floral & Botanical: Using fresh, dried, or hand-piped buttercream flowers, I create designs that feel natural. I do not use plastic toppers; I prefer edible or natural accents whenever possible.
  • Themed & Milestone: From character cakes for kids to elegant tiered designs for weddings and engagements, I can handle 3D props and acrylic toppers while maintaining the cake's structural integrity with internal dowels.

Practical Notes

  • Pickup: I operate from my studio in Hebbal. Given the nature of buttercream, keeping the cake cool during transport is essential. I use heavy-duty, grease-proof boards and sturdy packaging, but I recommend placing the box on a flat surface in your car, ideally on the floor.
  • Timeline: Since everything is made from scratch, I need time to prep the layers and the decor. Please reach out with enough lead time for custom designs.
