About Floral & Botanical Designs
When you pick a floral design, the choice of flower matters. I use sanitized fresh blooms, dried botanicals, or hand-piped buttercream flowers, depending on the look you want. My rule is simple: everything on the cake is food-safe, so you never have to worry about what is touching your dessert.
I build these cakes on a foundation of flavour. You will not find heavy fondant here, as I stick exclusively to buttercream to ensure every layer tastes as good as it looks.
Choosing Your Floral Style
- Palette Knife & Piped: I use a palette knife to create textured, impressionistic petals directly onto the buttercream. This gives a modern, artistic look. Alternatively, I can pipe classic roses, succulents, or wildflowers for a more traditional aesthetic.
- Fresh & Pressed Blooms: For a natural finish, I incorporate sanitized fresh flowers or delicate, edible pressed blooms. These work well for engagements, baby showers, or romantic anniversaries.
- Dried Botanicals: If you want something that lasts or has a rustic, muted tone, I use dried accents.

Every cake is made to order in my Bangalore studio. Since I focus on buttercream and fresh elements, the construction requires careful planning.
