Deeper Yoga Practices for Inner Calm
Real peace is not found in a perfect pose, it is found within. These deeper practices—sound healing, breath mastery, and guided meditation—help you move past the daily noise and reconnect with yourself.
An invitation to our Sound Healing Workshop. These sessions use vibrations to lower stress, improve focus, and reduce inflammation, offering a path to deep relaxation and better health.
Dhyan, or meditation, is the core of yoga. We guide participants to find stillness, observing the mind without judgment and connecting with the quiet space within.
A glimpse into our Saturday special meditation classes. This practice cannot be explained in words, it can only be experienced.
Here are a few simple tips for starting your pranayama journey. Remember to start slow, focus on your breath, and practice regularly to feel the benefits.
A guided Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, session. This simple pranayama technique is incredibly effective for calming the nervous system and balancing the mind.
Sometimes the simplest act is the most powerful. Take a moment to stop scrolling, and just breathe with us. Inhale calm, exhale stress.
We provide clear instructions for pranayama to ensure a safe and effective practice. Following these guidelines helps you get the most out of your breathwork, preparing the body and mind for deeper meditation.
Meditation is the vehicle for the inner trip, and the ticket is your own mind. Great saints have always taught us to look within, and this practice is open to everyone, regardless of background.
Many people think a busy mind means they cannot meditate, but that is not true. Meditation is not about stopping thoughts, but about observing them like clouds passing in the sky.
About Deeper Practices for Inner Calm
You do not need to be an expert to start. In our Saturday meditation or sound healing workshops, the biggest challenge isn't physical—it's learning to watch your thoughts instead of fighting them. We teach you how to treat your breath as a tool for stillness, not just a biological function, helping you find that smile regardless of your stress levels.
At Bodhi, we believe yoga extends far beyond the physical mat. Our 'Deeper Practices' sessions are crafted for those who feel the weight of city life and are looking for a genuine way to quiet the mind.
The Three Pillars of Our Practice
- Pranayama (Breath Mastery): We strip away the mystery and teach you the mechanics. Whether it is Nadi Shodhana or controlled breath retention, we guide you to use your breath to balance your nervous system. In the beginning, we focus on counting to build discipline, moving toward effortless practice as you progress.
- Sound Healing: Using Tibetan singing bowls, we create vibrations that help lower stress and reduce inflammation. This isn't about entertainment; it's about using sound to help the body enter a state of deep relaxation where healing can occur.
- Guided Meditation (Dhyan): Many students come to us thinking they cannot meditate because their minds are too busy. We teach you that meditation is not about stopping thoughts, but observing them like clouds passing in the sky. This practice is open to everyone, regardless of your background or experience.
Where We Practice
We host these sessions at our studios in Indiranagar and HSR Layout. These are spaces built for community and growth, not for showing off or aesthetic perfection. Whether you are a total beginner or someone struggling to maintain consistency, come as you are. We focus on the practical application of these ancient techniques—how to bring calm from the mat into your daily, busy life. Om Namah Shivaya.
