About Perfect for Beginners
The first session is usually the hardest because of the intimidation factor, but at BlackBx, nobody is judging your form or speed. When you book a beginner slot, you get guided through specific movements like sled pushes or rowing with a coach watching your mechanics. You do not need to be fit to start, you just need to show up and let us handle the programming for the hour.
We built BlackBx because we were tired of seeing people aimlessly wander between machines. Our beginner sessions are the opposite of that. Whether you are here for our HYROX race training or general functional fitness, we keep the group sizes manageable so you get actual attention from coaches like Kris, Sai, and Aiusha. We do not believe in grind culture. We believe in progressive loading, where you learn the movement first, gain confidence, and then add intensity.
You will find us on Kasturba Road, where the vibe is more crew than commercial gym.
