A small cart in Colaba, a handful of family recipes, and a promise that still holds strong today. Get to know the real Bademiya journey.

We are the five sons of the original Bade Miyan, and this is our story. From a small stall started by our father in 1946 to a Mumbai landmark, we carry his legacy forward with pride and hard work.

My father taught us, "beta sheesh bechna, imaan mat bechna" (sell the skewers, but not your integrity). I stand by that promise. The taste you loved 70 years ago is the same taste I guarantee today.

People say running a restaurant is one of the hardest jobs, and it's true. But our father gave us 'commando training' in this business. We handle every challenge to maintain the quality you expect from us.

This is my father, Mohammed Yasin, the original Bade Miyan. He started with a small cart and a few recipes, but his vision and values are what feed us all to this day. This is his legacy.

Our story is a chapter in Mumbai's history. From a small stall started by a 13-year-old boy to a legacy, this is the real flavour of the city.

These frames capture more than just moments, they capture our history. The smoke, the fire, and the face of the man who started it all.

About Our Story: A Legacy Since 1946

People often ask why our taste has not changed in decades. The secret is not a factory; it is in our central kitchen where every masala is mixed by hand, just as our father taught us. We do not chase trends. We chase the consistency that has fed generations of Mumbaikars since 1946.
