Dynamic Yoga Flows and Sequences
Build heat, strength, and grace with flows that link breath to movement. Every sequence is a moving meditation designed to improve your mobility and control.
A mobility challenge that involves flowing with interlocked hands, designed to improve shoulder flexibility and body awareness.
This video shows a dynamic flow for opening the hips and quadriceps, moving through variations of a low lunge.
A graceful sequence that flows into Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), demonstrating flexibility and control.
A short flow demonstrating the entry and exit from Supta Virasana (Reclining Hero Pose) with a backbend.
A powerful vinyasa flow, moving from three-legged dog to an arm balance and finishing in a deep forearm backbend.
A classic vinyasa sequence, flowing through standing poses like Extended Side Angle Pose, building strength and heat.
This video demonstrates a flow that includes an arm balance and a transition to Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward-Facing Dog).
A demonstration of Chandra Namaskar (Moon Salutation), a calming and cooling sequence that honors the lunar energy.
A demonstration of a classic Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), the foundational flow of many yoga practices.
This video showcases Prithvi Namaskar (Earth Salutation), a grounding flow that connects you to the stability of the earth.
About Dynamic Yoga Flows & Sequences
I often incorporate props like yoga wheels and blocks into these sequences, not just for support, but to help you find deeper opening in your chest and hips. Whether we are moving through a grounding Prithvi Namaskar or a heat-building Vinyasa, every transition is designed to improve your mobility while keeping your breath steady.
Dynamic flows are about more than just movement. They are about building endurance, heat, and mental clarity through a structured practice. In my sessions, we focus on the transition between postures as much as the posture itself.
Why Dynamic Flows Work
When you link breath to movement, you enter a state of flow that helps calm the mind while strengthening the body. This is why I integrate diverse styles, from the heat-building nature of Ashtanga and Vinyasa to the cooling, restorative energy of Chandra Namaskar (Moon Salutation).
The Role of Props
Many students think props make a flow 'easier.' My experience shows the opposite. I use wheels, bricks, and straps to help you achieve correct alignment, allowing you to access muscles you might otherwise miss. This ensures you are practicing safely, whether you are a beginner learning the basics or an advanced student working on complex arm balances like Crow Pose.
Our Training Focus
- Precision & Alignment: Every session involves hands-on adjustments to ensure you are safe from injury.
- Breath Control: We dedicate time to Pranayama to ensure your energy remains stable throughout the sequence.
- Accessibility: Whether you are practicing at our studio in AECS Layout or Varthur, the intensity of the flow is always tailored to your daily energy levels.
If you are looking to deepen your practice, we move beyond simple stretching into more challenging territory. Let us work together to find that 'Jai ho' moment where your effort turns into pure joy.
