About Our Community in Practice

In our group classes, you are not just another face in the crowd. Whether you are practicing Hatha flow or working through your 200hr teacher training modules, I keep the batch sizes small so I can personally guide your alignment. You will see students of all levels practicing side-by-side, creating an environment that feels more like a family than a standard fitness center.

Yoga is a journey of the self, through the self, and to the self. When you join our community in AECS Layout, Varthur, or Belathur, you are stepping into a support system. We believe that practice is not about the final pose or showing off; it is about what you learn while you are moving.

The Class Experience

Our group sessions are designed for everyone.

  • For Beginners: You get a safe, slow start with plenty of attention to ensure you do not push your limits too hard too soon.
  • For Advanced Practitioners: We dig into complex asanas and spiritual discipline, focusing on the finer details of breath and posture.
  • For Teacher Trainees: Our 200hr and 300hr Yoga Alliance certified courses provide an intense, hands-on environment where you learn the theory and practical application of multi-style yoga.

We regularly use props—blocks, straps, wheels, and Iyengar chairs—not to make the practice easier, but to make it more effective. If you are struggling with a backbend or need help with a forward fold, these tools allow you to find the correct alignment safely.

At the end of every challenging flow, when we push through our limits together, you will hear us shout 'Jai ho!' (Let there be victory). This is our way of celebrating the small wins and the shared energy of the group.
