My Journey in Yoga and Philosophy
Yoga for me is not a business, but a mission to serve. My path began in Haryana and led me to master traditional practices to help you find balance in the chaos of modern life.
Every journey has a beginning. Mine started in a small village in Haryana, where the spiritual values of my family and the teachings of Swami Vivekananda instilled in me the belief that serving humanity is the highest purpose. This principle became my guiding light.
The call to serve became clear when I saw the stress of modern life firsthand. I decided to dedicate myself to making India stress free through yoga. This clip explains how I pursued formal education in yoga and established Arya Power Yoga Academy to turn this vision into reality.
About My Journey and Philosophy
My philosophy is rooted in Seva, which I learned from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The practices I teach—like the 5-5-5-5 Box Breathing for cortisol reduction and Yoga Nidra for psychological rest—are not just theoretical. They are the same proven techniques I use to help professionals manage daily stress, developed through my training at the Swami Sivananda Ashram and Krishnananda Yogashala.
I grew up in a small village in Haryana, where my parents taught me that the highest purpose in life is to serve. When my parents faced severe health challenges, I left the corporate rush of Bombay behind to care for them. That period was my true awakening. I realized that the rapid development of the modern world comes at the cost of deep, underlying stress. My mission became simple: to help India become stress-free through the authentic science of Yoga.
I believe that Yoga is a journey of the mind, body, and soul, not just a series of postures. My training includes rigorous study at the Swami Sivananda Ashram, Krishnananda Yogashala in Mysore, and an MA in Yoga from Haldwani. This blend of traditional depth and modern scientific understanding is what I bring to the Arya Power Yoga Academy.
Whether it is the 'Desk Detox' program to help professionals alleviate tech-neck and back pain, or 'Manipura Dhyan' to build mental resilience, my approach is practical. I do not offer fancy promises. I offer tools that work if you are willing to show up and practice them. We focus on breathing protocols that lower cortisol and guided relaxation that actually helps you switch off. My goal is to make the profound wisdom of Yoga accessible to everyone, from the busy office worker in Delhi NCR to the student seeking deeper discipline.
