There's nothing quite like an afternoon spent creating with friends. This was from a lovely wine and cheese platter painting event I hosted, where a wonderful group of ladies designed their own unique ceramic platters.

When you come for a session, don't worry about being a natural sculptor. Most people walk in thinking they have two left hands, but after ten minutes of kneading the clay, the focus shifts. I handle all the messy prep and the technical firing later, so you get to walk away with a finished piece that is truly yours, even if it's a little wobbly.
Pottery is rarely just about the object you make. It is about what happens when you put your phone down and get your hands into the clay. My studio in HRBR Layout is designed to be a safe, quiet space for exactly that—whether you are a corporate team looking to de-stress, a group of friends wanting a creative afternoon, or a school group exploring sensory play.
What we do
We offer a mix of hand-building and wheel-throwing sessions. If you are a beginner, we start with simple techniques like pinching and coiling. If you want that classic experience of working on the wheel, I guide you through the basics so you can get a feel for the motion. For social groups, like ladies' day-outs or family gatherings, we often do paint-your-own pottery, which is relaxed and lets everyone chat while they work.
Important things to know
Because we are working with real clay that needs to go through a kiln, please remember that pottery isn't an instant result. Pieces need to dry slowly, get glazed, and be double-fired in the kiln to become food-safe and durable. It usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to get your finished keepsakes back. We provide all the materials, tools, and aprons, so you just need to show up ready to get a little messy.
Beyond the studio
I also travel to locations across Bangalore. If you have an office event, a clubhouse, or a school that wants a workshop, I bring the entire setup to you. We focus on being eco-friendly, using air-dry or dissolvable clay for offsite events, ensuring we leave your space exactly as we found it.
