Corporate Pottery Team Building Workshops
Swap laptops for clay and bring your team together. Our Koramangala studio offers a hands-on, therapeutic way to connect, create, and unwind.
(Hero Media) There's a unique energy when a team gets their hands in clay. We were thrilled to host the team from Axis Bank for a day of creative wellness, watching colleagues connect and unwind while trying everything from hand-building to the potter's wheel.
It was a pleasure to welcome the Google UI/UX team for a creative workshop. They swapped digital canvases for clay plates, and the results were a fantastic display of individual artistry and collaborative fun. This is what a team-building pottery session is all about.
A glimpse into one of our corporate workshops where team members leave their desks behind to create something tangible. These sessions are designed to be relaxing and fun, offering a hands-on medium for teams to engage and explore their creativity together.
From blank clay canvases to personalized works of art. This video captures the focus and fun of a team workshop, where everyone gets to paint and decorate their own unique piece to take home as a memory of their shared creative experience.
A little friendly competition in the studio. We love incorporating fun games like this clay-weighing challenge into our sessions. It’s moments like these that break the ice and fill our studio with laughter, making the creative process even more memorable.
This beautiful sunflower pot was crafted by one of our students during a beginner's course. It’s a wonderful example of how, with a bit of guidance, anyone can create something they are proud of, even with no prior pottery experience.
About this collection
We know that team-building can sometimes feel like a chore, but here, the focus is entirely on tactile play. Whether your team chooses to decorate pre-fired ceramics or dive into wheel-throwing, the goal is simple: getting out of your heads and into the clay. It is a messy, relaxing, and surprisingly effective way to break the ice.
A Break from the Routine
Our studio in Koramangala is designed to be a quiet, green escape from city noise. When teams come to visit, we find that the simple, repetitive motion of working with clay acts as a natural stress reliever. It levels the playing field—everyone is a beginner, everyone gets messy, and the focus shifts from deadlines to the shape of the bowl or mug in front of them.
How It Works
We offer three main formats for corporate groups, depending on your team's energy levels and the time you have available:
- Bisque Decoration: A clean, social session. Your team picks a pre-fired piece and uses professional underglazes to create functional art. It is relaxed and allows for plenty of conversation.
- Hand-Building & Sculpting: A 3-hour intensive where we teach pinch, coil, and slab techniques. This is where teams get to create something from scratch, focusing on texture and form.
- Full Studio Experience: A 4-hour session covering both the potter's wheel and hand-building. This is our most popular package for groups wanting the full tactile experience.
The Details
We provide everything—clay, tools, and aprons. After the workshop, our staff handles the drying, trimming, glazing, and firing process (to 1220°C in our electric kilns). Finished work is usually ready for collection 2 to 4 weeks later, giving your team a tangible reminder of the session to keep on their desks.
We have hosted everyone from large tech teams to small creative groups, and the results are always different. If you have specific wellness goals or team dynamics you are looking to address, let us know when you book. We are happy to tailor the pace to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
Clay Station
At Clay Station, we believe that 'hunar' (skill) lives in everyone, waiting for a little nudge. We created this space to foster community and help people find their tribe through the simple, grounding act of working with clay.
