Creative Mindfulness Workshops
Step away from the noise and reconnect with your inner self through art. No experience needed—just bring an open mind and a willingness to get messy.
Art is about the journey, not just the final piece. Here is a sneak peek of what we learn in my workshops, where I encourage experimenting with texture techniques that are easy to grasp yet deeply fulfilling.
I wanted to share my own learning journey. After months of wanting to, I finally joined a ceramic workshop and learned wheel throwing and glazing. It was so meditative, and I'm excited to bring this new skill into my creative practice.
I believe growth comes when we mix things up. Stepping out of my usual studio practice and onto the pottery wheel was a beautiful way to shift my energy and explore a new creative language.
A glimpse into a quiet, creative moment. With a brush in hand and a warm drink nearby, the calm that only art can bring settles in. This is the soul-soothing session I want to share with you in my workshops.
Art is not about perfection. It's about discovering who you are and letting your soul breathe. In my workshops, I encourage you to find the joy in the simple act of creating, because that is where you will find yourself.
About this collection
You don’t need to be an artist to join these sessions. We use tactile materials like clay and heavy-body texture paste, focusing entirely on the sensory experience and the meditative flow of creation, so you can leave the pressure of perfection at the door.
My workshops are designed to be a pause button for your mind. Whether you are feeling stuck, disconnected, or just tired of the daily routine, these sessions offer a safe space to breathe and explore.
Why focus on process over product?
Art is not about making something perfect or receiving praise. It is about discovering who you are and letting your soul breathe. In my sessions, we explore materials like clay and textured paste to tap into the 'Navrasas'—the nine emotions—allowing you to express what might be hard to say in words. You might find a bit of 'Karuna' (compassion) or simply the quiet joy of making something with your hands.
Where we gather
I choose locations that help us disconnect from the noise:
- Goa: Luxury retreats at private cliff-top estates in North Goa, where the ocean view provides a rhythm for our daily guided texture workshops.
- Leh, Ladakh: A 6-day immersive experience involving plein air sketching at monasteries and studio sessions in heated, mountain-view glamping tents.
- Mumbai: One-day urban intensives at premium galleries for those who need a quick creative reset in the city.
What you take away
Most participants leave with more than just a canvas. They leave with a lighter mind, a new way to look at their emotions, and a toolset for creative mindfulness that they can use long after the workshop ends. I keep groups small and personal to ensure everyone feels seen and supported. You don't need any art background to begin this journey—just the desire to try something new.
Shruti Jhaveri
I believe art is my way to slow down and listen, and I started these workshops to share that stillness with you. Whether we are working by the cliffs in Goa or in a studio in Mumbai, my focus is always on creating a safe, messy, and judgment-free space for your inner self.
