About Art-led Wellness Retreats

Why I Host These Retreats

I see art as a way to slow down and listen to myself. These retreats are my way of sharing that pause with you. It’s not about being an artist or making something perfect. It’s about using your hands, getting a bit messy, and letting whatever’s inside you come out. Sometimes it’s karuna (compassion), sometimes it’s something else from the navrasas (nine emotions). The process is what matters, not the outcome.

Who Usually Joins

If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or just tired of the usual routine, you’ll probably fit right in. I keep the groups small so it feels safe and personal. You don’t need any art background. Just come as you are, ready to try, even if you think you’re “not creative”.

What Happens Here

  • We use materials like clay and textured paste to explore what we’re feeling.
  • There’s no pressure to make “good” art.
  • Most people leave with a lighter mind, a bit more clarity, and a new way to look at things.
  • It’s a break for your mind, not just your body.

Where We Gather

I pick places that feel special - like a boutique estate on a cliff in North Goa or the quiet mountains in Leh, Ladakh. The environment is a big part of the experience. It helps you disconnect from the noise and reconnect with yourself.

What You Take Away

You’ll get space to breathe, a chance to try creative mindfulness workshops, and maybe even a new way to handle your emotions. If you’re looking for emotional healing through art or just want to see what mindful art experiences in Ladakh or Goa feel like, this is for you.

My Story

I guess I’ve always been a bit tangled up with water and fear. Nearly drowned as a kid in Hawaii, then years later, the same old fear came up during a scuba dive. Facing that, breathing through it, shaped my art. I pull ideas from everywhere – like wild art at Kochi Biennale or random travel moments with my sister. Once, I ran a workshop with kids, making sculptures from straws and trash. That spark, that connection, it’s what keeps me hooked.

My Work

What I do - I make bespoke textured art commissions, up-cycled art workshops, live art performances, and art-led wellness retreats.

My art style - My art’s textured, touchable, and often uses up-cycled paper, texture paste, even rough diamonds for big sculptural pieces.

How I work - Every piece starts with a story or feeling. I build it up in layers, letting it grow and breathe till it feels 'right.'

Love to collaborate - I team up with brands, artists, wellness folks. If you’ve got an idea, let’s see where we can take it.
