About this collection

When I work on architectural sketches, especially historical ones like the Ramon House or Sicka Nagar, my focus is not just on drawing the walls. I study the era, the vintage 90s aesthetic, and how the light hits those structures to ensure the perspective is technically sound yet soulful. For landscapes, whether it is a moody forest or the Himalayas, I treat each piece as a meditation, letting the texture of the graphite and the paper tell the story of the place before it reaches your walls.

My journey with architectural sketches started with a clear, challenging brief from the HDFC Legacy Center. They needed to recreate iconic locations like the Tutorial High School and Sicka Nagar as they looked in the 90s. This required more than just reference photos. I had to mentally strip away modern grills, new windows, and additions to reveal the history underneath. Using graphite and charcoal, I focused on sciography and perspective to bring those vintage streets back to life.

My landscapes are a different kind of quiet. Pieces like 'The Truth,' a moody forest study, or my Himalayan series are born from my need to observe nature closely. I believe a landscape should not just depict a scene, but hold a feeling, a memory of stillness.

Why choose a pencil landscape?

  • Timelessness: Graphite on archival paper carries an elegance that fits both modern offices and warm, traditional homes.
  • Personal touch: Unlike mass-produced art, each sketch carries the hours of layering and blending required to build depth.
  • Flexible scale: From A5 mini prints to larger statement pieces, these drawings are designed to be part of your living space.

Whether you want a drawing of your ancestral home, a school that shaped you, or a serene mountain view that brings you peace, I can help you capture that. I am happy to create commissioned originals or provide fine art prints on quality paper. Every line, every smudge, and every highlight is a deliberate effort to make that place feel like it belongs in your home.

Art for me is never just about the final image on the paper. It is about how I felt when I looked at the school building or the way the light hit the mountain range. I live in Mumbai and love capturing stories, whether they are in the lines of an old building or the shadows of a forest.
