About Watercolor & Charcoal Works
When you commission a charcoal portrait, I use premium textured sketching paper and apply a professional fixative spray, so your artwork stays crisp and won't smudge over time. For my watercolor landscapes, I prefer 300 GSM cotton rag paper, which holds the pigment beautifully and keeps the colors vibrant for years.
Bringing Your Vision to Paper
I believe art is about connection. Whether you want a calm landscape that reminds you of home or a detailed portrait that captures a loved one, I work closely with you to get the mood right.
Working with Charcoal My charcoal portraits are drawn on premium A3 textured paper. This material is excellent for building depth, allowing me to create sharp contrasts and soft shadows. Because charcoal can be delicate, I treat every finished piece with a professional fixative spray before it leaves my studio. This protects the drawing from smudging during transit and ensures it lasts for a long time. You will receive the portrait unframed, carefully packed between hardboard sheets to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
The Art of Watercolor For landscapes and cityscapes, I use 300 GSM cotton rag paper. This is artist-grade paper that handles water and pigment exceptionally well, allowing for those fluid, natural blends you see in my work. Whether it is a harbor scene, a mountain view, or a bustling street, the watercolor medium brings a unique atmosphere that canvas often cannot replicate. These pieces are shipped rolled in a heavy-duty PVC tube, which is the safest way to transport large watercolor works.
How to Order If you have a subject in mind, start by sharing your idea or a reference photo. We will discuss the size, the mood you want to capture, and the medium that suits your space. I paint each piece at my studio in Nabin Nagar, Guwahati, and I am happy to share updates as the work progresses. Once finished, I ship your artwork anywhere in India, ensuring it is packed securely so it arrives ready to be framed and displayed.
