Strength & Conditioning Workshops for Coaches
I lead hands-on workshops that cut through the noise and get to the science. Learn to program like a pro, whether you're working with elite athletes or weekend warriors.
A few shots from our four-day Primal Training & S&C workshop. Here, we're taking the learning outdoors for some practical sessions, including broad jumps in the sandpit.
Day four of our PTSC workshop, focusing on the intricacies of load monitoring and technology in sport. We followed the theory session with a practical on dumbbell weightlifting.
Day three of the PTSC workshop started with more physical testing on the track. We believe that to coach an athlete, you need to train like one and understand the physical and mental demands firsthand.
On day two of the PTSC workshop, students began with a 2km time trial. After the grueling run, we moved into the gym for a comprehensive walkthrough of key exercises and techniques.
A look back at day one of our PTSC workshop. The students were put through their paces on the track, learning about different testing protocols and training methods.
More highlights from the first day of the PTSC workshop. We make our students go through the drills themselves because experiencing the training is the best way to learn how to coach it.
A brief glimpse of the energy at the start of our PTSC workshop. The students are locked in and ready for an explosive day of learning and training.
About this collection
I don't just lecture on theory; you'll be on the field running time trials, practicing broad jumps, and troubleshooting load monitoring protocols yourself. The only way to truly understand an athlete's physical demands is to experience the grind firsthand, so expect to train as hard as you learn.
My workshops for fitness professionals are built on one simple premise: you have to be able to do it to teach it. Whether we are dissecting the mechanics of a box jump or analyzing the data behind load monitoring, the goal is to bridge the gap between a textbook and the gym floor.
We cover the stuff that matters. No bro-science, no fluff. We dive into:
- Plyometrics & Explosiveness: We break down the nuance of jumps—from the 60s to modern application—ensuring you understand the intent behind every rep.
- Load Monitoring: Learn how to actually track progress and recovery so your athletes don't burn out or break down.
- Programming Logic: Stop copy-pasting workouts. We look at how to build sessions for cricket, football, or general fitness, accounting for specific sport demands and injury history.
- The Testing Protocol: If you can't measure it, you can't improve it. We go through the FMS screens, Yo-Yo tests, and 2km time trials, showing you how to capture real metrics.
I usually cap these sessions at 15 participants. It’s not a seminar; it’s a masterclass. You will be exhausted, you will have questions, and you will leave with a clear, science-backed framework that you can apply immediately with your own clients the next day. If you're serious about taking your coaching to the next level, I'll see you on the track.
