Why I Do This
My whole goal is for you to not need me or any other nutritionist again. I started out in strength & conditioning, but now I see nutrition as the backbone of feeling strong, clear-headed, and energetic. Not here to throw complicated diets at you. I want you to actually understand what works, so you can handle your food choices without second-guessing.
The 'Order of Food' Rule
I've got one rule that changes the game. Eat your meal in this order:
- Fibers first (like salad, bhaji)
- Then protein (egg, paneer, chicken)
- Fats next (nuts, ghee)
- Carbs last (rice, roti, pasta)
For an Indian meal, start with veggies, wait 5-10 minutes, then move to the rest. It’s simple, works for any diet, and you’ll see less cravings, better gut health, more steady energy, and even clearer skin.

My Story
Gyms were my playground growing up – my dad’s Shanker Basu, so you can imagine. But I had to break out, so off I went to Leeds Beckett for my Masters, ended up living and breathing sport, not just reading about it. Now, I coach athletes, fitness newbies, and everyone in between. Off the field? I’m a sports nut and total anime/gaming geek – Chennai Comic Con was a blast! I mix that same passion and science in my coaching.
