Practical Strength & Conditioning Workshop
Stop reading textbooks and start coaching on the ground. A 4-day intensive boot camp at the Padukone-Dravid Centre designed to build your skills through real athletic testing and programming.
Day 3 of the PTSC workshop focuses on testing and rehabilitation. Here, we're putting coaches through a series of drills on the track to assess their conditioning levels after two grueling days of training.
On Day 2, we start with a 2km time trial before diving deep into exercise mechanics in the gym. This clip shows a demonstration of plyometric box jumps, focusing on explosive power and proper landing technique.
To coach an athlete, you must train like one. This is our philosophy in action on Day 1, with coaches performing sprint drills and medicine ball exercises on the track to understand the physical demands firsthand.
The final day of the PTSC workshop covers advanced topics like load monitoring technology in sports, followed by a practical session on dumbbell weightlifting techniques.
A look back at Day 1, from classroom theory sessions to practical application on the field. We cover a massive amount of ground, ensuring every coach leaves with a vault of new knowledge.
A quick glimpse of the energy and focus at the start of Day 1. The coaches are locked in and ready to be pushed to their physical and mental limits.
About this collection
You won't spend these four days sitting in a lecture hall. You'll be on the track at the Padukone-Dravid Centre, running the Yo-Yo test, performing Olympic lifts, and using real load-monitoring tech. We follow one simple rule: to coach an athlete effectively, you have to know what it feels like to train like one. You leave with a 'Folder for Life' full of programming templates, not just a certificate.
Bridging the gap between theory and the floor
Most fitness courses leave you with a bunch of theory but no idea how to handle a real client in a gym or on a field. This workshop is the opposite. We strip away the filler and focus on the mechanics of strength and conditioning that actually matter.
What you'll master in 4 days:
- Athletic Testing: Learn to conduct standardized tests like the Yo-Yo and 2km Time Trial with precision.
- Load Monitoring: Get hands-on exposure to the tech used by pro teams to track performance and prevent overtraining.
- Olympic Lifting: Break down the technical aspects of Snatches and Clean & Jerks so you can teach them to your own clients.
- Programming Logic: Learn how to periodize training, not just pick random exercises.
The 'Folder for Life'
We provide you with our proprietary manual—a comprehensive resource packed with notes, cues, and templates that I use with my own athletes. It's meant to be your cheat sheet long after the workshop ends.
Who this is for
This isn't for people looking for a 'quick' certification. It's for aspiring S&C coaches, trainers who feel stuck, and physios who want to understand the performance side of sports better. If you’re ready to put in the work and have some serious conversations about why certain training methods work (and why others are a waste of time), you’ll fit right in.
Arjun Basu
I’m Arjun. I built this workshop because I got tired of seeing trainers finish courses without knowing how to actually coach. We keep it real—we test, we train, and we break down the science so you can apply it to your clients the next day.
