About My Story & Customer Love
When I started this kitchen, my motivation was simple. After the pandemic, I saw friends and neighbours struggling to find food that didn't feel like a heavy, store-bought meal. I wanted to serve the kind of comforting Andhra dishes that I make for my own family, without the excess oil or artificial spices. My cooking comes from a place of care; whether it is a batch of Gongura chicken or a simple vegetable curry, I make sure it tastes like home.
Every message I receive from a customer is a reminder of why I do this. When someone tells me, 'Gongura curry chala bagundi' (The Gongura curry is very good), it validates that the extra time I take to grind masalas at home is worth it.
My approach to catering is built on trust. I do not use heavy restaurant-style gravies that leave you feeling heavy or uneasy. Since I operate out of my own kitchen in K.R. Puram, I keep the menu authentic to our roots. This is why I am trusted for traditional events like Satyanarayana Swamy pujas where I specifically prepare no-onion, no-garlic meals.
I handle catering for groups ranging from 20 up to 85 people. Because I want to make sure the food stays hot and fresh, I deliver in steel vessels, which also helps keep the meal hygienic and clean. I am always happy to customise the spice levels or swap items in the menu, just as you would ask a family member to adjust a recipe. If you have an upcoming event and want that real, home-cooked Andhra touch, I am here to help.
