Signature Andhra Dishes and Event Favorites
From slow-cooked Nellore fish curry to our classic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, these are the dishes that define my kitchen. Whether you are planning a birthday or a family get-together, here is a look at the flavors I bring to the table.
A complete catering order ready for a birthday party. This spread includes 4 kgs of my special chicken fry, 4 kgs of rich mutton curry, flavorful Bagara rice, and a creamy vegetable kurma, all packed in hygienic steel containers.
This is my signature Nellore Chepala Pulusu, a tangy and spicy fish curry made in the traditional Nellore style. The flavors are authentic and it is a favorite among my customers for family lunches and dinners.
Nothing beats the aroma of a freshly opened pot of Chicken Dum Biryani. Here you can see the steam rising from the long-grain basmati rice, tender chicken, and fried onions, ready to be served at an event.
A close-up of my Gutti Vankaya curry, a classic Andhra dish. I stuff small brinjals with a fragrant blend of spices and cook them in a rich, nutty gravy until they are perfectly tender.
For corporate events or when you need individual servings, I prepare these convenient non-veg meal boxes. This thali for school teachers included Bagara rice, chicken curry, chicken fry, raita, and a sweet Semiya Kheer.
I also cater for religious events and accommodate special dietary needs. This is a complete vegetarian meal for 60 people, prepared entirely without onion and garlic, featuring dishes like rasam and masala vada.
A glimpse of a traditional breakfast I prepared for a Satyanarayana Swamy pooja. The menu included hot ghee pongal, crispy vadas, flavorful sambar, and fresh coconut chutney, perfect for starting any auspicious occasion.
My Veg Dum Biryani is layered with fresh vegetables, fragrant basmati rice, and aromatic spices. It is slow-cooked on dum to ensure every grain is infused with flavor, making it a centerpiece for any vegetarian feast.
Hearing from happy customers is the best part of my work. Here are a few messages from clients who loved the taste of my Nellore style fish curry, praising its delicious and authentic flavor.
About Featured
When you book for a party, I deliver in bulk steel vessels to retain heat and flavor rather than relying on standard disposable containers. This ensures that whether it is the Nellore fish curry or the mutton masala, the food arrives at your event tasting exactly as it does when I prepare it in my own kitchen.
My kitchen operates on a simple promise: food that I would be proud to serve to my own family. I do not use shortcuts or excessive oils to create flavor. Instead, I rely on traditional grinding methods and fresh, local ingredients. This is why dishes like my Gutti Vankaya and Veg Dum Biryani have become favorites for events in and around K.R. Puram and Whitefield.
Why These Dishes Matter
I have selected these featured items because they represent the core of Andhra and Hyderabadi cooking.
- Gutti Vankaya: A labor of love. The brinjals are stuffed with a fragrant spice mix and slow-cooked in a nutty gravy. It is a dish that takes time, but the result is worth the patience.
- Nellore Chepala Pulusu: This is a tangy, spicy favorite. I use the traditional Nellore style to ensure the fish absorbs the tamarind and spice balance correctly, giving it that authentic kick.
- Dum Biryani: Whether vegetarian or chicken, my biryani is layered and slow-cooked on dum. This allows the steam to cook the grains evenly, infusing them with the meat and vegetable juices.
Customization for Your Event
I understand that every event is different. If you have religious dietary requirements, such as a need for no-onion or no-garlic meals for a pooja, I can prepare a complete menu to suit those guidelines. For corporate events, I offer individual meal boxes that are efficient and easy to distribute. Because I cook fresh for every order, I am happy to adjust the spice levels or swap items to better fit your guests' preferences. Just let me know what you need when we discuss your event menu.
