Homestyle Chicken Curry Meal
Main Dish
- Chicken Curry: ~150-200g portion of Kodi Kura (Andhra style). Contains 3-4 bone-in pieces in a spicy onion-tomato gravy with curry leaves.
- Base: ~400g Steamed Sona Masoori rice.

- Lentils: Includes a portion of the daily Dal (Pappu) or Rasam.
- Curd: ~80ml homemade curd to balance the spice.

Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani
The Biryani
- Rice & Meat: ~600g portion of long-grain Basmati rice layered with 2 substantial bone-in chicken pieces (Leg or Thigh).
- Preparation: Slow-cooked on 'Dum' with ghee, fresh mint, and generous fried onions (Beresta).
Sides
- Mirchi Ka Salan: ~50-80ml traditional peanut and sesame curry.
- Raita: ~50-80ml onion-cucumber yogurt dip.
- Container: Delivered in a round food-grade plastic container to retain heat.
Signature Nellore Fish Curry (A-la-carte)
The Curry
- Dish: Nellore Chepala Pulusu (Fish Pulusu).
- Protein: 3-4 bone-in steaks of freshwater fish (typically Rohu or Catla).
- Base: Tangy, thin-to-medium consistency gravy made with tamarind extract, red chilies, and sesame oil.
Serving Info
- Quantity: 500ml container.
- Yield: Serves 2-3 adults as a side dish.
- Note: Rice is NOT included. This is a standalone curry order delivered in a leak-proof container.

Why I Cook
I started Anu's Kitchen because I missed the real taste of home - the kind you get only in Andhra and Hyderabad households. All my meals are homemade, using family recipes and local ingredients. No restaurant shortcuts, just the food I serve my own family.

- Daily Andhra home-style thali delivery: Veg and non-veg options, always changing, so you won’t get bored. Rice, pappu, curry or fry, rasam/sambar, curd, papad - the full spread.
- Fresh Hyderabadi biryani at home: Chicken Dum, Veg Dum, Gongura Chicken, Chicken Kebab. Served with mirchi ka salan and raita, just like we do for Sunday lunches.
- A-la-carte picks: Gutti vankaya, paneer butter masala, chicken curry, mutton curry, egg kheema, starters like chicken fry and fish fry. Got cravings? I can sort it.
- Gongura curry meal box is a hit - people keep asking for it!
My Special Touch
Nellore fish curry home cooked and Nellore chicken biryani are my personal favourites. They’re spicy, tangy, and the kind of food that makes you feel you’re back home.
