Real Skills, Real Confidence: The Omjiujitsu Approach
A glimpse into our dojo culture—where discipline meets community. From championship rings to family celebrations, this is how we build stronger, smarter, and safer kids, one step at a time.
I believe every child has the right to feel safe. Here, we're at a self-defense seminar for underprivileged kids, teaching them practical, life-saving skills. This is why I do what I do: to empower the next generation.
It takes courage to test your skills. I'm incredibly proud of my students for stepping into the ring at the national kickboxing championship. Win or lose, the most important thing is the lessons we learn and the heart we show.
Our summer camps are all about learning new skills and having a blast. In just 15 days, these kids went from beginners to confidently swimming laps. It’s amazing to see their hard work pay off.
We are a community dedicated to growth. It was an honor to host a seminar with a visiting BJJ black belt, giving my students, both kids and adults, a chance to learn from another expert. We are always learning together.
There are no shortcuts to becoming stronger, smarter, and better. It's about taking it one step at a time, every single day. This is the discipline and mindset we build on the mats.
This is what our family looks like. Celebrating the birthdays of my mother and my dog, Moti, surrounded by my students. These moments of shared joy are just as important as our training.
Even on a Monday morning, my best training partner, Moti, is always ready to go. We believe in working hard, but we also make sure to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously.
About Featured
Every session in our Sector 46 dojo follows a strict rotation between BJJ grappling, Muay Thai striking, and wrestling, ensuring your child learns a comprehensive skill set rather than just one-dimensional moves. We maintain a strict 1:15 coach-to-student ratio, so your child gets actual feedback on their form during every drill, rather than getting lost in a crowd.
At Omjiujitsu, we strip away the fluff. You won't find flashy corporate gym equipment here, but you will find tractor tires, focus mitts, and a space where 'Shortcut ka koi fayda nahi' (shortcuts never help) is our daily mantra.
Why Our Approach Works
We believe martial arts should be age-appropriate and functional. Whether it is our youth MMA classes, BJJ fundamentals, or our swimming summer camps, the goal is always the same: building resilience. We teach kids how to handle tough spots, how to stand up for themselves, and how to maintain mental fortitude through our signature 'Mat Chats' after every workout.
Safety and Environment
I know MMA can sound intimidating to parents, but safety is our top priority. We do not do wild sparring. We focus on controlled, structured movements. The dojo, located in a residential basement in Sector 46, is a community space. It is where you will find my dog Moti chilling by the mats, where we host birthday celebrations, and where we celebrate every small victory.
Our Core Programs:
- Youth MMA & BJJ: 3 days a week, focusing on grappling and striking fundamentals.
- Self-Defense Workshops: Practical, real-world scenarios for schools and communities.
- Mentorship: Beyond fighting, we focus on discipline, nutrition, and dealing with peer pressure.
If you want your child to learn discipline that stays with them off the mat, come visit us. We are building a stronger, safer future, one student at a time.
Anand Sharma
Hi, I'm Anand. I started Omjiujitsu because I know what it’s like to be bullied, and I wanted to create a space where kids feel safe, strong, and supported. My sessions mix hard discipline with a lot of heart, and yes—you will definitely meet my dog, Moti, who is the real mascot of the gym.
